New PHNX Boards website!

New PHNX Boards Website...we need your help!

Shooting for a clearer message and simpler buying experience, we recently launched our new website. While it's up and running and orders are coming in, product reviews from the prior site did not transition. Since reviews are critical to online shopping, we are asking any and all PHNX supporters to please help us and post a review. Since our launch, we've received 100% positive reviews on our prior website and eBay account, emails and photos from happy riders, just one critical response, and one replacement. The critical feedback was a V1 rider who felt the board should better secure his front foot, but as he was a new rider he was going to keep trying (proper foot stance and adjustment of the Rip-Cord is important to a secure riding position). In the meantime, we've been exploring the concept of a toe bumper to prevent foot sliding (more about that below). Regarding the replacement, a V2 rider slammed his board into a wall of hard snow and snapped it in half (...fortunately, without getting hurt!). Because this seemed to be a freak occurrence and because he was still so stoked about the board, we sent him a replacement V3. Overall, the PHeedback has been great and it would be helpful to prospective buyers to see that riders are having PHun! If you agree, please click here and write a review:

Product Development...Let's Do This!

As mentioned above and in prior newsletters, we continue to explore ways to make PHNX Boards better. Instead of just foam for our foot grip, as found on other snurfers, we use actual screws and sealing washers to provide as secure a grip as possible without actual locked in bindings (the step-on, step-off ease is what makes snurfing so fun and spontaneous, without all the extra equipment and hassle). With the right balanced body position, assured by correct adjustment of the Rip-Cord, most of the time you can stay attached to the PHNX Board. When we're taking big jumps, however, sometimes the forces are too great on landing and our foot slides off. We've been testing a front foot bumper and it's worked really well. How did we do it without investing hundreds or thousands in creating a custom piece? Yup, a Home Depot bucket, of course! The challenge now is to create them in bulk and be able to add them to the board, or as an option, without costing much. Until then, DIY riders can head over to Home Depot!
