PHenomenol Snowstorm coming...good news...for PHNX Boarders!
If I were smarter, I would have loaded up a UHaul with Trailblazers and headed down to Washington, D.C. since I bet I could sell a truckload in one weekend! Once you have your shovel and batteries, the next best thing is a snurfer to ride the hills and roads (before the plows get through), especially since snowstorms often make traveling to resorts difficult. With all that snow right outside - for free- you don't need to go anywhere...as long as you have the right ride. Meanwhile, up here in Boston, we're only supposed to get a few inches; not so great for the resorts, but PHantastic for PHNX Boards.
Beer and PHNX Boarding...huh???
What in the world does Labatt's beer have to do with PHNX Boards? Well, we're drawing attention to our new
"History" web page and one of the videos we've posted is what is claimed as the very first and possibly only television advertisement featuring snurfers. Created in the early 70's, when snurfing was gaining in popularity, Labatt's beer capitalized on the excitement with their action-packed snurfing, beer, chili...and BIG hair...commercial (ladies, is it the hair or the green sweater?). Are we condoning drinking and boarding? No, but if you're 21 or over, go ahead and grab a Labatt's beer and sit back and enjoy the retro videos we posted! (Dear Labatt's, yes, you can send us some free beer).
